The Story

I want to make my blog a little bit more interesting. I've decided to do stories with a little advice or lesson, I guess.

This one is my first one.
Those People
There was once a small girl who grew into a young women. She was going through a rough time at school because nobody understood her. She was getting bullied. What she thought was not the truth, though. A lot of people understood her. She didn't want to think of it though. She didn't want to think of it because she couldn't stand the thought of all those people going through the same thing she was.
Her name was Odera. It was part of the reason people bullied her.
One day, Odera had an especially hard time at school. When she got home, she cried for a long time. Her dad came into her room after he got home from work. "Honey, are you okay," he knew she wasn't.

He went to sit on her bed, "I know what you are going through. Don't you understand? This whole world is filled with this awful stuff. It's stuff we can't get rid of. It's eat or be eaten. I guess that is from the wild, but it can apply to life. I wouldn't say push or be pushed, though. Just remember this, be unique, yourself. Don't let anyone get you down. Love and be loved, not or loved," as he said the last words, he walked out of the room.

"Eat or be eaten? I don't want to be eaten," Odera thought.  Kenzie, the girl who always teased her about being weird, couldn't get to her anymore. Niether could Liam, Tia, Jose, or Tris. She was unique, herself. She wasn't going to let anyone get her down. Love and be loved, not or loved. She would always remember that.

The next day at school, Tia called her fat. She knew she wasn't and she had to remember not to let it get to her. But, she was so hurt. She couldn't just let go. Odera let the tears fall. Liam came up to her, "I'm sorry about what Tia said. You know you're not fat, right. You're just letting her see that it got to you. Let me tell you something, don't. You can get through this, I know it."

"I don't understand. I thought you were one of them, The Teasers," she told him.

"No, Kenzie said I had to do it or she would tell everyone who I had a crush on. But I was wrong about her, she still told everyone. So, I decided it would never happen again."

"She didn't tell me,"

"Well, I guess I'll tell you. I like you. You're nice and a great friend," he told her.

She was stunned. That changed her mind about people. Not everyone is bad. People can change after all.

I hope you like it. If you do ask me to do more of it. Or ask me to do another one. =)
